Call for OLPC Games

The One-Laptop-Per-Child (OLPC) Project is looking for educational games for the OLPC platform. Dubbed "Game Jam", a three-day games development contest begins on June 8 at the Olin College campus in Massachussetts.

Whilst OLPC users can now play games from the Pygames list, getting kids to play more educational games will give them the needed confidence to explore computing more, i.e., beyond the concept of the computer as a games machine.

Personally, I hope that the OLPC will bundle Java ME or JavaFX Mobile so it can take advantage of the growing number of Java developers.
