Cross-platform Music Jukebox
Java is often perceived as a huge, slow beast. This was true perhaps 2 years ago. Today, Java is fast. One of the most popular Java applications besides Netbeans is Azureus, the BitTorrent client.

Jajuk is another Java application that show promise. What is it? It is a feature-rich multi-platform music organizer. Some of its features are:

  • Digital DJ

  • Ambience Management

  • Configurable cross-fade

  • recursivelinks play/repeat/shuffle/push in directories/sub-directories or by genre/artists/albums

  • Best of Smart Function to play your favorite tracks

  • Intro from a track position and specified length

  • and more...

Try it out - just click on the Webstart button and the application will auto-install and launch, provided, of course, you have Java setup properly on your computer.
