Demystifying Beryl's GPU requirements
Michael Larabel of Phoronix writes a piece evaluating different video cards that work with Beryl. What makes this article great is that it eliminates every users' nightmare of trial and error. Imagine figuring out if your GPU can support beryl (and Compiz, for that matter) - I know it is such a pain in the you-know-what if your GPU does not have the muscle to drive that Mac OS X-busting UI for Linux.

"Intel's IGPs are certainly not the fastest but using a GMA 3000 or newer GPU should be able to provide a clean and fluid Beryl/Compiz experience."

It is interesting to note that the integrated graphics processor of Intel works! Woohoo!
