DIY Yast-based Distro
Filed in archive Hacks on June 25, 2007
Not to be accused of being too biased towards Ubuntu (which I am, btw), here's a feature on how you can create your own Linux distribution using the YaST tool that OpenSUSE has been using.
Frankly, these new openSUSE features are starting to interest me. I particularly like their Education initiative, which will go head-to-head against Edubuntu. At the end of the day, schools and school-kids benefit from this healthy competition. I just hope that it does not fragment the open community dedicated to education, though.
