DVD Authoring in Linux
I wrote about how you can rip and encode CDs and DVDs a few months ago. Today, Varol Okan, of Linux.com, provides a short how-to in creating DVDs using 'Q' DVD-Author. Although the tools sufficiently provides the basic functionalities, it is far from perfect. As Mr. Okan states "The application's greatest flaw is its partial implementation of the undo function, which renders that feature useless. Another area which could be improved is the number of available templates, but it is easy to create and submit a template, so there may be more user contributed templates over time."

Whilst I am still sticking with iPhoto, iMovie and iDVD on the Mac for my DVD authoring, this tool is definitely a must-have for linux desktoplinks users.
