EasyCrypt: Easy encryption tool
Not too long ago, I wrote about TrueCrypt, an open source disk Encryption softwarelinks. To some, it may be cryptic to get TrueCrypt to use, much more integrate into your daily workflow. To make it easier, EasyCrypt, was released. EasyCrypt is "a Graphical GUI of the simplest nature for the Security Command Line product TrueCrypt."

To get started, you need to get the application by adding the source to your repositories.

$ sudo vi /etc/apt/sources.list

and add

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/stevenharperuk/ubuntu hardy main restricted universe multiverse
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/stevenharperuk/ubuntu hardy main restricted universe multiverse

then fire up apt-get

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install easycrypt

And that is it! You now have a full GUI front-end for TrueCrypt.
