Fixing broken scanner driver
Ubuntu Geek's John Craick has written an excellent hack to fix the issue of having a broken scanner driver after you upgrade your Ubuntu installation to Feisty Fawn. Whilst I have not experienced it because I do not normally upgrade (I re-install!), this will prove useful to those who have spent hours looking for a solution. Sometimes, after an upgrade, you don't immediately notice that something is broken specially when you do not use it regularly. Scanners are not used often unless you are doing publishing or image processing.

So, what are you waiting for? Read the fix and enjoy your scanner. I just hope that you did not start blogging about how Ubuntu sucks just because it broke your scanner. :P
