Free Software Magazine dumps PDF

Whilst not directly a Linux post, it still concerns Linux users since the Free Software Magazine publishes articles related to Linux.

Until recently, free software Magazine releases their publication in PDF format. Starting this month, however, they have decided to dump PDF and declare,

Paper-as well as PDF-is now a thing of the past. Web sites are gaining importance-at full throttle. Publishers need to adapt-and need to do it fast.

I have enjoyed downloading and reading the PDF version of their magazine. Whilst it is true that reading it on their site will generate more revenue, I do wish that they provide a print-friendly format as well - to allow users like me who prefer reading articles off-line - to print with proper formatting. At least readers can generate their own PDF version of select articles.
