How to create an OpenBSD-based encrypted RAID-enabled NAS
With hard disk drive prices plummeting rapidly, it is easy to create your own network-attached-storage (NAS). Whilst there are commercial devices that provide with a simple NAS solution, using an old computer to be your storage server might save you a couple of bucks.

Here's a tutorial on how to configure an OpenBSD-based NAS with automatic data encryption and RAID reliability.

If I find the time (and money) to buy a couple of hard drives for a NAS, I will definitely try this out.
