How to print pretty pictures
It is one thing to connect your digital camera and download it on Linux. It is another to manage and share it with family and friends. However, when it comes to printing, Linux is really not as good as its Windows or Mac OS X counterparts... or is it?

In Part 3 of the series on Digital Photography over at LXer.com, Ms. Carla Schroder provides us with options on how to print those digital images.

So, are we better off just uploading it to the on-line photo printing services such as Kodak's or can we live with what Linux can provide us at the moment? Again, this is one of those things that rely on your personal taste. Me? I'd rather it have it printed on real photo paper - the thinglinks is, how often do we need prints anyway, right?
