How to read CHM on Linux

Now too long ago, a friend asked me how to view CHM documents on a Mac and she ended up getting a FOSS tool from somewhere.

CHM files are Compiled HTML Help files that Microsoft use for its Help application. In Linux, afaik, it is not supported natively considering that it is a non-standard file format. However, some wise guys out there release ebooks using this format. (yeah, I'd rather that they use standard file formats but hey, can't win them all!) So how do you read these CHM files on Linux?

I can think of several CHM viewers like chmsee, kchmviewer, gnochm (see screenshot), Help Explorer Viewer for Linux and xchm. How about you, what is your preferred CHM viewer?
