Introduction to Ardour 2

I mentioned Ardour, the Digital audio workstation, awhile ago and this time, I am providing you with a link to Dave Phillips' Brief Practical Introduction.

Again, this is not as mature as other commercial applications so your support will come a long way. You can donate via Paypal but the best way to help out is to pay the monthly subscription fee. These are not required but it will definitely help. Check out the website for more details.
