I know that this is not a HackItSolaris blog but it pays to monitor the friend or foe of our preferred operating system. Well, just a disclaimer, I do have Solaris and Linux as guest operating systems on my Macbook Pro and I do advocate both equally. :)



Anyway, I am hoping that someone can give me a run-down of the advantages of Linux over Solaris considering that Sun already blogged about Solaris's advantages. :)
