Linutop: a wee storage-less Linux device

Filed in archive Devices by Rom Feria on December 21, 2007

There is no lack of Linux-based devices available but not that many become available to the general public. Some are limited to certain countries or regions only. Yeah, I agree that it sucks but that is just the way it works. The most noticeable downside of this is that sites like ours will not be able to get our hands on these cool devices to review. Double bummer! Fortunately, others are providing their reviews online. Take this device, for instance, a storage-less Linux device that boots up from a USB thumb-drive. Personally, a 1GB integrated flash disk wouldn't hurt to include but I guess the manufacturer was trying to keep the cost down. Anyway, here's Linux.com's review of the Linutop.
