Linux as a gaming machine?
I have given up being a gamer several years ago but with new and exciting games being announced and released, I might just resurrect the gamer in me. :) When you think of PC games, there is only one main OS that comes to mind and it is not Linux... not anymore!

Bit-tech's Brett Thomas featured games, both free and non-free, available on Linux. Mr. Thomas covers native linux gameslinks as well as games played using an emulated or virtualized environment like using Transgaming's Cedega.

Linux gaming has definitely gone a long way and with more and more folks switching to Linux, I am pretty confident that games will soon match those available on that main gaming OS.
