Linux for the real road warrior

Filed in archive News on October 19, 2007

Not until recently that we start getting laptop manufacturers to start bundling Linux instead of Microsoft Windows as its pre-installed OS, the laptop with pre-installed Linux market is dominated by a few small companies such as Emperor Linux. Despite the presence of manufacturers getting their hands on the market, Emperor Linux is still producing awesome products. Take the case of the Wasp Rugged Linux, a Panasonic Toughbook customized with Linux. :)

Linux for the real road warrior

If you are one of those who pack a Rifle along with all those military gears, a rugged laptop is heaven-sent, more so if it is running a reliable OS such as Linux. We don't want you to have a BSOD in the middle of the war zone, do we? hehe

To give you a more in-depth look, LinuxJournal.com has a review of this awesome device. Check it out, it might just be the one for you.
