Linux in JavaOne
Last week, I went to San Francisco (from Manila, Philippines) to attend JavaOne 2007. Whilst this is not my first JavaOne conference, this year seems to have featured Linux on the desktops more than the last two I have attended. The first General Session featured more Macbook Pros on stage than any other computers but the Sun booth in the pavilionlinks runs more Ubuntu Linux than the other booths combined.

I particularly like how Ubuntu handles Sun's Virtual Workplace (see photo above) and with full audio support, too. I wonder how it performs on the new Sun servers, though - did not see one since the servers were running Solaris 10.
