Linux Server Market Increases
Filed in archive Servers on March 1, 2007
InternetNews covered a Gartner report citing an increase in world-wide server growth. On a related note, LinuxElectrons reports on an IDC's Worldwide Quarterly Server Tracker stating a 5.2% growth for linux servers over last year's figures for the same quarter. [I wonder how Microsoft fared]
This is great news despite Microsoft's Steve Ballmer's repeated FUD to sue companies pushing for Linux. To Mr. Ballmer, I say the same thing "show us the code". [disclaimer: this view is solely the author's and not by Creative Weblogging.]
