As a proud user of the Ubuntu Linux operating system, you may want to connect your computer to the internet wherever you go. Mobile broadband deals can certainly help your Linux connect to the internet by linking up your computer to your mobile phone.

Apart from your Linux-based computer and your mobile broadband phone, you will need a USB cable to connect the two devices together. Make sure that the cables are plugged in securely, and your mobile phone is switched on. On your Linux system, simply go to "System" and "Preferences" and open "Network Connections." Open up the "New Mobile Broadband Connection" wizard and add your mobile phone and service provider.

Next, you just simply open up your web browser and fill out the immediate page requiring your details for your service provider's mobile broadband. Once you're done with that, you will then be able to use the internet using your mobile phone and your Linux based computer.
