Moonlight: Silverlight on Linux
When Microsoft announced its new Silverlight technology, it provided a Windows and Mac OS X version, none for Linux. However, the Mono project, the .Net Linux implementation, pledged that it will create its own Linux port of Silverlight, called Moonlight. Latest news from the Monolinks Project states that Moonlight will be ready to demo their alpha version within the week. Let's see what happens.

Frankly, though, I really would not pay attention to Silverlight. I'd rather that we stick with technologies that are based on open standards. :)
