More anti-virus tools

Filed in archive Utilities by Rom Feria on November 17, 2007

Matt Hartley over at Linux Fanatics gives us a brief update on the available anti-viruslinks tools for Linux. Whilst it is definitely not an exhaustive list, it pays to be familiar with these tools.

What is rather interesting is that the Asus Eee PC comes with none of these anti-virus tools but it comes with its own Xandros anti-virus tool. I have yet to use any anti-virus tool on my Linux box simply because I do not see the need for it. Again, why waste resources for those who use vulnerable OS like Windows?
