More Linux Eye Candy
Filed in archive Misc by Rom Feria on July 26, 2007

The merger of Compiz and Beryl is starting to give users tons of new eye-candy for the Linux desktop. (will definitely be useless on the servers, yeah?) Anyway, I am wondering if the developers are actually doing anything useful with these new features, like perhaps a grand new user interface? Sun's Project Looking Glass may be a start but I think that it is time that the window-based GUI needs a revamp. What do you think?
