Network bonding
For those of you who have multiple network connections on a single computer or server, there might be value in aggregating the total bandwidth and making it look like a single connection. In networking terms, it is called trunking or bonding.

In this Tutorial, howtoforge's zordo provides us a way to bond network cards to allow us to easily do port trunking, etc. What happens is that the system sees all your connections as one.

If you have two or more broadband connections at home (I am actually thinking of getting another one for redundancy), then you can use this tip to fully utilize your connections instead of separating traffic between the different connections.
