Nvidia vs ATI
Nvidia
Just like in any other platforms, the choice of graphics cards is often dictated by the drivers, its availability and its feature set, and Linux is no exception. Whilst users are starting to avoid ATI video cards, Nvidia, on the other hand, keeps on churning up updates to its linux driverslinks with the beta release of 100.14.06. Phoronix test drives the new driver that is seemed to have better support for notebooks. If you are the adventurous type, go download and test it. :)
