OLPC Build 2
Filed in archive Devices on January 24, 2007
The One-Laptop-Per-Child (OLPC) project just announced completion of Build 2 (B2) of their USD150 product. Improvements in UI, firmware and Device drivers were included as well as upgraded versions of the bundled applications.
Frankly, I cannot wait to see the final product. I am still hoping that I can get one for USD300 at eBay, even if it means that I get to sponsor a child in Rwanda or some other country that is part of the project.
