One last rundown of Linux Distros
With the year 2007 ending, I figured that it might be a good time to feature some of the new distributions that are coming out before year-end. Whilst I try to avoid posting about distribution updates, there are some distributions (and editorials about it) that are worth posting.

One of the distributions that I have not featured is Zenwalk. Currently at version 5, take a look at phoronix's review of Zenwalk and you might be swayed to give it a go.

If you are new to Linux or just looking to try out a different distribution, we feel that Zenwalk 5.0 is a great lightweight Linux desktop worth trying out.

Think that Zenwalk is for you? Well, wait til to read MadPenguin.org's article on Fedora - why it is a worthy alternative to Ubuntu. I am tempted to try out Fedora 8 as a guest OS but still do not have time to tinker with it.

Whilst we are talking about distributions, I figured that I might as well mention distributions for the Asus Eee PC such as eeeXubuntu and Eeedora. Xandros Linux is the default OS but hackers are configuring their own distributions for this tiny gadget. :)
