PC-BSD 1.3 Released
Version 1.3 of PC-BSD has just been released. PC-BSD is a FreeBSD based OS that is designed for the "casual" user.

Just in time to ring in the New Year, the PC-BSD team is pleased to announce the immediate availability of PC-BSD version 1.3 for public download. This release incorporates many new features and options which make desktop computing easier than ever. Some of the new features include KDE 3.5.5, the "PF" firewall, HAL backend support, a new "Services" menu and much more! Additionally, the team is launching a web design contest for PC-BSD's new web site.

What a way to start the new year -- with the release of a new version!
