Whilst we all know that there aren't that many viruses on Linux, sometimes it is a good idea to run an anti-virus application just so your computer will not be the virus carrier.

HowToForge.com gives us a tutorial on how to use AVG Anti-virus on Linux.

Personally, I do not run an anti-virus utility to protect my peers who refuse to see the light! I think that it is their fault for preferring a not-secure, virus-prone system, why would I waste computing resources, right? But that's just me. hehehe.
