Setting Samba on Ubuntu Server
For the unfortunate few who needs to maintain a Windows workgroup along with their Linux installs, HowToForge provides a tutorial on how to setup Samba Server for small workgroups on an Ubuntu server install. The tutorial uses the tdb backend for Samba instead of LDAP to store and manage passwords and other account information.

Follow the tutorial and you will be able to share files and printers with your Windows workstations thru your linux serverslinks. Hopefully, you will soon migrate all computers to Linux to make the process streamlined and easier to maintain. :)
