Two hacks to speed up your browsing experience
Who among us does not want to have a faster browsing experience? We all want our data to download as soon as possible but it can only be as fast as we can afford it to be. Unfortunately, bandwidth is still not free but I sure wish that it were and I am sure that you are with me on that one.

Anyway, to make do with what we have, people devised ways to make the experience more bearable, the browsing experience that is. :) So off to go2linux.org where we find two articles that speak about having a better browsing experience. The first one involves setting up a local caching DNS and the next guides in setting up and configuring a personal proxy server called polipo.

Personally, I'd rather just find enough dough to be able to afford more bandwidth. :) Just don't want to have other processes running in the background and eating up resources solely for my browsing, do you?
