Using Areca for Backup


Whilst we have featured quite a number of backup utilities for Linux, here is another one that may just prove to be a solution that works on almost all popular platform. Areca, is a personal backup software that runs entirely on the Java virtual machine, i.e., runs on all platforms that support Java.
