Virtualization Shoot-out: Parallels vs VMWare
In another comparative article but this time pitting virtualization solutions from Parallels and VMWare. The article compares each solution according to cost, ease of installation and use, range of Linux distribution support, performance and unique features.

The image above is from vmwarelinks Fusion, the VMWare product for Mac OS X. I have tried both Parallels and VMWare Fusion in running Linux on my Mac and I personally prefer VMWare Fusion for a number of reasons: (1) CPU demand (it uses less resources), (2) 64-bit support (Parallels on supports 32-bit OS), (3) multiple processor support (Parallels can only use one) and (4) more updated hardware emulation (Parallels failed to provide sound for my Ubuntu Feisty install).

How about you, which one do you prefer?
