What is an IT event without Linux?
Last week, I have spent 3 days at the Philippine Youth Congress in Information Technology, aka Y4IT, where I was one of the speakers. My topic was not related to linux or FOSS but I was expecting others to talk about it. Whilst I was not able to check out all the sessions, I think there was not a single one that talked about Linux. Good thing OpenSolaris was introduced by the Sun folks.

Anyway, I am curious - for a non-vendor-specific IT event, shouldn't Linux always be part of the line-up?
