Xandros "bridges" gap
Xandros announces a new product named Bridgeways, which is aimed at simplifying the complexities of managing servers in a mixed environment setting. This soon-to-be-released product "provides cross-platform management for many enterprise platforms, including Xandros, Red Hat, Solaris, Debianlinks, Novell and Oracle Linux servers and desktops, through an integrated "single pane of glass" environment that is easy for any type of administrator to use." It comes in five (5) different editions, namely Server Management, Deployment & Management, Systems Monitoring, Storage Management and Enterprise Management.

I am wondering how this performs against free and open source management tools available today.
