James works as a freelance writer and database specialist. He has worked with a variety of database centric software and tools vendors as strategist, architect, DBA, performance expert, and product evangelist. Considered an expert in the database community, James has successfully started a database monitoring company as well as a consulting practice. He is a highly sought after consultant, speaker, writer, and blogger. James received a B.S. degree in Information Systems from the University of Texas at Arlington. James also believes strongly in contributing to the technical community by professional speaking at local area User Groups as well as industry and international conferences.
